Οστεοφυλάκια στην Ιερουσαλήμ και το όνομα του Ιησού / Ossaries in Jerusalem and the name of Jesus

Στην ηλεκτρονική έκδοση της Haaretz αναπαράγεται ένα σύντομο αλλά ενδιαφέρον άρθρο για τα οστεφυλάκια που έχουν εντοπισθεί στην Ιερουσαλήμ και φέρουν το όνομα του Ιησού, ένα όνομα ιδιαίτερα συνηθισμένο στην εποχή της Καινής Διαθήκης στην Παλαιστίνη. Με αφορμή αυτά τα μνημεία ο αρθρογράφος σχολιάζει σύντομα κι άλλα ενδιαφέροντα ευρήματα που ρίχνουν φως στην εποχή που έζησε ο Ιησού και στον τρόπο που πέθανε. Οπωσδήποτε δεν μπορούν να συνδεθούν άμεσα μαζί του ούτε φυσικά να αποτελέσουν ιστορική απόδειξη της ύπαρξής του, είναι όμως σημαντικοί μάρτυρες στην προσπάθεια κατανόησης των πολιτισμικών αξιών της εποχής του Ιησού και των πρώτων μαθητών του:
