Ένας ανανεωμένος κατάλογος των ερμηνευτικών σειρών στα ευαγγέλια, Πράξεις και επιστολές / A revised list of the catenae of Gospels, Acts and Epistles

Houghton and D.C. Parker, “An Introduction to Greek New Testament Commentaries with a Preliminary Checklist of New Testament Catena Manuscripts” in H.A.G. Houghton (ed.), Commentaries, Catenae and Biblical Tradition. (Texts and Studies 3.13). Piscataway NJ: Gorgias, 2016 (pp. 1–35).

Η συναγωγές του 1ου αι; / The synagogues of the 1st c. AD?

There is, unfortunately, little material to suggest a clear identification method, and the gap between modern theory and the material record remains the central problem in the field of synagogue studies, especially in relation to pre-70 CE structures. While it is neither possible nor desirable to disprove synagogue identifications, it is fair to say that there has to be some evidence present, be it textual, epigraphical, architectural, or archaeological, before a positive identification can be made and before a synagogue so identified should be accepted into the body of scholarship on the subject and used as a basis on which to identify other structures.
