Η Johanna Stiebert στην ιστοσελίδα The Shiloh Project συζητά κριτικά τη στάση της Παλαιάς Διαθήκης στο γάμο, την ενδοοικογενειακή βία και τον βιασμό με αφορμή τις θέσεις του Andreas Klostenberger για επιστροφή στο βιβλικό ιδεώδες του γάμου. Η Stiebert παρουσιάζει κάποια δύσκολα κείμενα της ΠΔ και καταλήγει ότι η εφαρμογή των βιβλικών χωρίων σχετικά με το γάμο στη σύγχρονη πραγματικότητα πρέπει να γίνεται με εφαρμογή κριτικών ερμηνευτικών πρισμάτων τα οποία θα λαμβάνουν υπόψη τη δυσκολία των βιβλικών κειμένων:

Ένα νέο περιοδικό κυκλοφορεί από τον εκδοτικό οίκο Brill και φέρει τον τίτλο Research Perspectives in Biblical Interpretation. Σε κάθε τεύχς του φιλοξενεί ένα εκτενές άρθρο από έναν ειδικό που εξηγεί πώς νέες μεθοδολογίες και προσεγγίσεις μπορούν να συμβάλουν στην ερμηνεία του βιβλικού κειμένου.
