Έφυγε από τη ζωή η Νορβηγίδα καθηγήτρια της Καινής Διαθήκης στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Όσλο Turid Karlsen Seim. Διετέλεσε καθηγήτρια της ΚΔ από το 1991 στο Όσλο και για τα τελευταία 8 χρόνια ήταν η διευθύντρια του Νορβηγικού Ινστιτούτου στη Ρώμη. Υπήρξε η πρώτη γυναίκα που πήρε διδακτορικό Θεολογίας στην Νορβηγία κι η πρώτη γυναίκα κοσμήτορας της Θεολογικής Σχολής. Εστίασε την έρευνά της στην αξιοποίηση της θεωρίας για το κοινωνικό φύλο στην ερμηνεία της Καινής Διαθήκης και κυρίως στο κατά Λουκάν και στις Πράξεις. Ανάμεσα στις ενδιαφέρουσες μελέτες συγκαταλέγονται: The double message: patterns of gender in Luke-Acts (1994) και Metamorphoses : Resurrection, Body and Transformative Practices in Early Christianity (2009).
