Το μυστήριο του Χάλκινου Κυλίνδρου / The mystery of the Copper Scroll

Ο Χάλκινος Κύλινδρος, όπως βρέθηκε στο Σπήλαιο 3

 Τα χειρόγραφα του Κουμράν (περίπου 900) είναι αναμφισβήτητα μία από τις σημαντικότερες
αρχαιολογικές ανακαλύψεις του 20ου αι. Μεταξύ τους ο λεγόμενος "Χάλκινος Κύλινδρος", ένα κείμενο γραμμένο σε φύλλα ορείχαλκου, που βρέθηκε το 1952 στο Σπήλαιο 3 του Κουμράν, εξακολουθεί να προκαλεί το ενδιαφέρον των ερευνητών. Περιέχει έναν κατάλογο με πληροφορίες για τοποθεσίες όπου είναι κρυμμένοι διάφοροι θησαυροί. Το μεγάλο ερώτημα που απασχολεί τους ερευνητές είναι κατά πόσο πρόκειται για πραγματικούς ή για φανταστικούς θησαυρούς.  Η Society Septuaginta Deutsch διοργανώνει διαδικτυακό συνέδρια στο διάστημα 18-21 Ιουλίου. Η εγγραφή στο συνέδριο είναι δωρεάν.  Ένα νέο ηλεκτρονικό, περιοδικό, open access με κριτές κυκλοφόρησε πριν λίγες μέρες. Πρόκειται για το περιοδικό Advances in Ancient Biblical and Near Eastern Research (AABNER) το οποίο σύμφωνα με την περιγραφή στην ιστοσελίδα του καλύπτει θέματα της αρχαιότητας και της πρόσληψής της.
