Στην ηλεκτρονική έκδοση της εφημερίδας Haaretz φιλοξενείται ένα άρθρο για το σπήλαιο στη Haiffa, το οποίο πιστεύεται ότι συνδέεται με τον προφήτη Ηλία και στο οποίο υπάρχει μία σειρά από ενδιαφέρουσες επιγραφές. Η χρήση του σπηλαίου ανάγεται ήδη στη λατρεία του Βαάλ, ενώ οι επιγραφές σε αυτό προέρχονται από την ελληνιστική και ρωμαϊκή εποχή:
