Τιμητικός τόμος για τον καθηγητή Florentino García Martínez

Από τον εκδοτικό οίκο Peeters κυκλοφορεί ένας συλλογικός τόμος προς τιμήν του καθηγητή Florentino García Martínez:

Ο παρών τόμος αποτελεί ένα ιδιαίτερο δώρο των συναδέλφων του καθηγητή García Martínez στη Leuven με αφορμή τη συνταξιοδότησή του. Ο τιμώμενος επιστήμονας υπήρξε καθηγητής στο Τμήμα Βιβλικών Σπουδών της Θεολογικής Σχολής του Παν/μίου της Leuven. Όπως η προσωπικότητα του ίδιου του καθηγητή έτσι και ο τιμητικός τόμος είναι πολύπλευρος. Μετά από την παρουσίαση από τον εκδότη του τόμου της πλούσιας βιογραφίας και της εκτενούς εργογραφίας του Fiorentino García Martínez, ο M. Vervenne αποπειράται να παρουσιάσει την προσωπικότητα του Fiorentino μέσα από το έργο και τη ζωή του. Ακολουθούν περίπου 30 μελέτες που μεταμορφώνουν το Festschrift σε μία συλλογή υψηλής ποιότητας με κείμενα σχετικά με ποικίλα ζητήματα αντικατοπτρίζοντας με αυτόν τον τρόπο το ευρύ φάσμα του έργου τόσο του τιμώμενου καθηγητή όσο και των συμμετεχόντων στον τιμητικό τόμο. Κάθε μελέτη έχει κατά κάποιο τρόπο να κάνει με την κριτική του κειμένου και τις σπουδές στους Εβδομήκοντα. Επιπλέον οι μελέτες του τόμου απηχούν απόψεις των επιστημονικών ενδιαφερόντων του Martínez.
