Ένα ισραηλιτικό ιερό του 11ου αι. π.Χ. / An Israelite cult shrine of the 11th c. BCE

Στη διάρκεια των ανασκαφών στην τοποθεσία Tel Beth-Shemesh αρχαιολόγοι του Πανεπιστημίου του Tel Aviv έφεραν στο φως ένα ενδιαφέρον ιερό που χρονολογείται στον 11ο αι. π.Χ. Σύμφωνα με τους αρχαιολόγους πρόκειται για αρχαίο ισραηλιτικό ιερό, το οποίο, ωστόσο, κάποια στιγμή πέρασε στα χέρια των Φιλισταίων και σύμφωνα με τα αρχαιολογικά ευρήματα καταστράφηκε και βεβηλώθηκε. Πιθανόν ο χώρος ξαναχρησιμοποιήθηκε αργότερα ως ιερός.
Το εύρημα θα παρουσιασθεί αργότερα αυτόν το μήνα στην ετήσια συνάντηση των American Schools of Oriental Research (Chicago).

Ο συγγραφέας εξετάζει μία σειρά από ρήματα παθητικής φωνής που χαρακτηρίστηκαν ως passivum divinum κι υποστηρίζει ότι ο Μάρκος δεν χρησιμοποιεί πάντοτε την παθητική για να τονίσει θεολογικές ιδέες σχετικά με τη δραστηριότητα του θείου. Κάποιες φορές, ενώ η παθητική φωνή οδηγεί στην εντύπωση ότι ο Θεός είναι που προκαλεί την πράξη, η πράξη ουσιαστικά εκτελείται από άλλο πρόσωπο και κάποιες άλλες φορές η παθητική φωνή έχει αμετάβατη σημασία και δεν υπονοείται κανένα πρόσωπο που ενεργεί. Τα ρήματα στην παθητική χρησιμοποιούνται για να τονίσουν συγκεκριμένες πράξεις και για να υποβαθμίσουν τη σημασία του ενεργούντος προσώπου, όταν αυτό δε διαδραματίζουν ρόλο στην πλοκή της αφήγησης. Στην παράδοση των θαυμάτων δεν υπάρχει η passivum divinum και η παθητική φωνή χρησιμοποιείται για να δηλώσει τις πράξεις του Ιησού.

Σύμφωνα με το Πρξ 13, αφού ο Βαρνάβας και ο Παύλος αντιμετωπίζουν τον Ιουδαίο μάγο Βαριησού στην Κύπρο κι εξασφαλίζουν τη συμμαχία του Ρωμαίου ανθυπάτου, Σεργίου Παύλου, οι ταξιδιώτες φτάνουν στην Αντιόχεια της Πισιδίας. Το Σάββατο εκεί ο Παύλος κάνει τον μοναδικό του λόγο προς Ιουδαίους στο βιβλίο των Πράξεων (13, 16β-41). Ο William M. Ramsay, ο oποίος υιοθέτησε τη θεωρία της "Νότιας Γαλατίας" θεωρεί ότι οι αποδέκτες της προς Γαλάτας ήταν εκείνοι που έγιναν χριστιανοί μετά από αυτόν το λόγο. Ο Ramsay μάλιστα προχωρά πολύ στην προσπάθειά του να συνδέσει την επιστολή με το λόγο. Ο H.D. Betz, αντίθετα, υποστηρίζει ότι η επιστολή γράφηκε για τους εθνικούς της Β. Γαλατίας. Ο Betz δεν θεωρεί ότι η επιστολή αποδεικνύει την ιστορικότητα της διήγησης των Πρξ. Η συγγραφέας του άρθρου υποστηρίζει ότι τόσο ο Betz όσο κι ο Ramsay έχουν από κάποια άποψη δίκιο. Η επίσκεψη του Παύλου στην Αντιόχεια της Πισιδίας στο Πρξ 13 εξηγεί την ίδρυση των εκκλησιών της Γαλατίας ανεξάρτητα από την ιστορικότητα της αφήγησης των Πρξ. Επιπλέον υποστηρίζει ότι η στάση του Παύλου εκεί προσφέρει ένα συγκεκριμένο πλεονέκτημα στην αφήγηση. Παρέχει μία ρωμαϊκού τύπου στάση στην αρχή των ταξιδιών αυτού του Ρωμαίου, με Ρωμαϊκό όνομα αποστόλου, του Παύλου.

Markus Lembke, "Die Apokalypse-Handschrift 2846", 369-395

Συγκρίσεις σε διάφορες περικοπές σε όλα τα χειρόγραφα της Αποκάλυψης, που δεν χρησιμοποιήθηκαν από τον H.C. Hoskier κατέδειξαν ότι ένα από τα μικρογράμματα χειρόγραφα που πρόσφατα εντοπίσθηκαν ανήκει στο λεγόμενο Αλεξανδρινό τύπο. Είναι το χειρόγραφο Grec. 977 στην Bibliothèque Nationale στο Paris, γνωστό κι ως 2846 στην Kurzgefaßte Liste. Όσον αφορά στη συμφωνία με το κείμενο του Nestle-Aland σε σύγκριση προς το Βυζαντινό κείμενο η σειρά είναι ως εξής: A C 2846 P47 2062 2050 2053 2329 2344 P 1611 κ.ά. Ενώ ο Ρ47 διαφέρει από τους A C, ο 2846 συμφωνεί στο μεγαλύτερο βαθμό με τους Α και C.
