Ένα νέο άρθρο έχει αναρτηθεί στην ιστοσελίδα του Journal of Greco-Roman Christianity and Judaism 6 (2009):

Craig S. Keener, Human Stones in a Greek Setting: Luke 3.8; Matthew 3.9; Luke 19.40

Ο συγγραφέας αναλύει το συγκεκριμένο λόγιο του Ιησού και παρόμοια (Λκ 3,8//Μτ 3,9. Λκ 19,40) και υποστηρίζει ότι μπορούν να κατανοηθούν καλύτερα μέσα σε ένα ιουδαϊκό πλαίσιο που μπορεί να σχετισθεί και με τις πηγές του Λκ (π.χ. η Q στο Λκ 3,8). Ωστόσο τα μέλη της κοινότητας με ελληνικό υπόβαθρο μπορούσαν επίσης πολύ καλά να κατανοήσουν την υπερβολή του λογίου καθώς παρόμοιες παραστάσεις υπήρχαν και στον ελληνικό κόσμο.

Το ερμηνευτικό μοντέλο της αφηγηματικής ταυτότητας

Στη σειρά των αναρτήσεών του για την αφηγηματική ταυτότητα ο J.C. Baker ανάρτησε σήμερα ένα ακόμη κείμενο, όπου παρουσιάζει εν συντομία μερικές από τις σημαντικότερες εργασίες που διατύπωσαν και εφάρμοσαν κοινωνικορητορικά μοντέλα και τα συνδύασαν με την θεωρία της αφήγησης. Ανάμεσα στα έργα που συζητά είναι: τη διατριβή του David Gowler (1983) για τους Φαρισαίους στο κατά Λουκάν, τη διατριβή του John Darr (1987) για το ρόλο που διαδραματίζει ο Ηρώδης στην αφήγηση του Λουκά, τη διατριβή του Warren Carter (1991) για τον οίκο στο κατά Ματθαίον και το έργο των Philip Esler και του Ron Piper για το κατά Ιωάννην.

Στη συνέχεια διατυπώνει τις βασικές αρχές του μοντέλου της αφηγηματικής ταυτότητας:

1) η ταυτότητα προκύπτει από την αλληλεπίδραση κειμένου και αναγνώστη

2) οι κύριοι χαρακτήρες της αφήγησης λειτουργούν ως πρότυπα της ταυτότητας της ομάδας

3) το μοντέλο επιδιώκει να κατανοήσει πώς η αλληλεπίδραση με την πορεία διαμόρφωσης των χαρακτήρων λειτουργεί έτσι ώστε να διαμορφώσει την ταυτότητα των αναγνωστών / ακροατών υιοθετώντας όρους διαφοροποίησης μεταξύ όσων ανήκουν στην ομάδα και όσων είναι έξω από αυτήν.

Νέα χειρόγραφα της Κ.Δ. στο Μουσείο Μπενάκη (Αθήνα)

Μέσω των ιστολογίων Confessions of a Bible Junkie και Parchment and Pen έχουμε την πληροφορία ότι ο γνωστός καθηγητής Daniel Wallace με την ομάδα του βρίσκονται στην Αθήνα με σκοπό να φωτογραφήσουν χειρόγραφα της Καινής Διαθήκης που βρίσκονται στο Μουσείο Μπενάκη. Ήδη στο Μουσείο εντοπίσθηκαν 7 νέα χειρόγραφα της Κ.Δ. Θα επανέλθουμε στο θέμα, όταν θα έχουμε περισσότερες λεπτομέρειες.
