Εκδήλωση επίδοσης τιμητικού τόμου στον καθ. Ι. Γαλάνη / Festschrift presentation to Prof. J. Galanis

Την Τρίτη 10 Μαΐου 2011 πραγματοποιήθηκε στην Αίθουσα Τελετών της Παλαιάς Φιλοσοφικής Σχολής ΑΠΘ η τελετή επίδοσης του τιμητικού τόμου στον ομότιμο καθηγητή της Κ.Δ. του ΑΠΘ Ιωάννη Γαλάνη.

Στο πρώτο μέρος της εκδήλωσης χαιρετισμούς απεύθυναν ο εκπρόσωπος του Οικουμενικού Πατριάρχου και του Μητροπολίτου Θεσ/κης, η Αντιπρύτανις Ακαδημαϊκών Υποθέσεων κ. Δέσπω Λιάλιου, ο Κοσμήτορας της Θεολογικής Σχολής κ. Μ. Τρίτος και ο Δ/ντής της Ελληνικής Βιβλικής Εταιρίας κ. Μ. Χατζηγιάννης. Ο Πρόεδρος του Τμήματος Θεολογίας καθ. Δ. Καϊμάκης και η Δ/ντρια του Τομέα Αγίας Γραφής του Τμήματος κ. Άννα Κόλτσιου παρουσίασαν την προσωπικότητα του τιμώμενου καθηγητή.

Στο δεύτερο μέρος της εκδήλωσης ο επίκουρος καθηγητής της Κ.Δ. του Τμήματος Θεολογίας Χ. Ατματζίδης και η λέκτορας της Κ.Δ. του Τμήματος Ποιμαντικής και Κοινωνικής Θεολογίας Αικ. Τσαλαμπούνη παρουσίασαν πτυχές του επιστημονικού του έργου. Ο πρώτος παρουσίασε τη συμβολή του Ι. Γαλάνη στην ερμηνεία των Α΄ και Β΄ Θεσσαλονικείς και υπογράμμισε τρία βασικά χαρακτηριστικά της ερμηνείας του: την αξιοποίηση της ιστορικοκριτικής μεθόδου και των πορισμάτων της κριτικής του κειμένου και τέλος την εφαρμογή της θεωρίας της πρόσληψης (reception theory), όπου εξετάζεται κριτικά η ερμηνεία του συγκεκριμένου χωρίου μέσα στην προηγούμενη ιστορία της ερμηνείας.

Η δεύτερη ομιλήτρια παρουσίασε το έργο του καθηγητή σχετικά με τη σχέση του ανθρώπου και τη κρίσης. Στις σχετικές μελέτες του ο καθηγητής προσέγγισε ερμηνευτικά εκείνα τα αγιογραφικά χωρία τα οποία αναφέρονται σε αυτή τη σχέση και τόνισε την αλληλεξάρτηση ανθρώπου και υπόλοιπης κτίσης, το σωτηριολογικό περιεχόμενο αυτής της σχέσης καθώς επίσης και τη συνέχεια μεταξύ τής βιβλικής μαρτυρίας και της υπόλοιπης χριστιανικής παράδοσης. Τέλος, στο τρίτο μέρος ακολούθησε η επίδοση του τόμου στον τιμώμενο καθηγηή και ο χαιρετισμός προς τους παρευρισκόμενους. Με τη σεμνότητα και το ήθος που τον διακρίνει ο καθηγητής ευχαρίστησε πρώτα από όλα τον παρευρισκόμενο στην εκδήλωση καθηγητή του Γεώργιο Γαλίτη, την οικογένεια, τους συναδέλφους και τους φίλους του και πρώτιστα τον Θεό.

[Α.Τ.: Για όλους εμάς που είχαμε τη μεγάλη τιμή να είμαστε μαθητές του η σεμνή τελετή της επίδοσης του τόμου ήταν μία ειλικρινής αναγνώριση του έργου και της προσωπικότητας του καθ. Ι. Γαλάνη, ο οποίος για 42 χρόνια υπηρέτησε με συνέπεια και ευθύνη το χώρο της βιβλικής θεολογίας και ερμηνείας. Του είμαστε ευγνώμονες όχι μόνο για τις γνώσεις που μας προσέφερε αλλά πρώτα από όλα για το παράδειγμα ήθους και σεμνότητας]
