Καλώς ήρθατε! Σκοπός αυτού του ιστολογίου είναι η συνεχής κι έγκαιρη ενημέρωση για ό,τι αφορά τις βιβλικές σπουδές. Εδώ θα βρείτε αναλύσεις πρόσφατων επιστημονικών δημοσιεύσεων, παρουσιάσεις νέων αρχαιολογικών ανακαλύψεων, και προβληματισμούς πάνω σε ερμηνευτικά ζητήματα που με απασχολούν.

Είμαι η Αικατερίνη Τσαλαμπούνη, Καθηγήτρια Καινής Διαθήκης στο Τμήμα Κοινωνικής Θεολογίας και Χριστιανικού Πολιτισμού της Θεολογικής Σχολής του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης. Οι ερευνητικές μου ενασχολήσεις επικεντρώνονται στην ερμηνεία και θεολογία της Καινής Διαθήκης, την κριτική του κειμένου, την επιγραφική, τα βυζαντινά χειρόγραφα και την οικολογική ερμηνεία της Βίβλου.

Συμμετέχω ενεργά στη διεθνή ακαδημαϊκή κοινότητα ως μέλος της επιτροπής του International Greek New Testament Project (IGNTP) και ως υπεύθυνη των ερευνητικών ομάδων "Graeco-Roman Society and the New Testament" και "The Bible and Ecology" της European Association of Biblical Studies.  Είμαι συνδιευθύντρια του Τομέα Μελέτης της Χειρόγραφης Παράδοσης της Καινής Διαθήκης στην Ακαδημία Θεολογικών Σπουδών Βόλου και μέλος του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου της Ελληνικής Βιβλικής Εταιρίας και της Ακαδημίας Θεολογικών Σπουδών Βόλου.  Έχω διατελέσει ταμίας της European Association of Biblical Studies (EABS) και αντιπρόεδρος της European Society of Women in Theological Research (ESWTR).

Αυτή τη στιγμή ηγούμαι ερευνητικού προγράμματος μεταγραφής και μελέτης των επιστολών προς Θεσσαλονικείς στο πλαίσιο του Editio Critica Maior (IGNTP).

Welcome! The aim of this blog, is the timely information and review of publications and discoveries that are relevant for biblical studies. Here you'll find analyses of recent scholarly publications, presentations of new archaeological discoveries, and reflections on hermeneutical issues that engage me.

I am Ekaterini Tsalampouni, Professor of New Testament at the Department of Social Theology and Christian Culture, School of Theology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. My research focuses on New Testament interpretation and theology, textual criticism, epigraphy, Byzantine manuscripts, and ecological hermeneutics of the Bible.

I actively participate in the international academic community as a member of the International Greek New Testament Project (IGNTP) Committee and I am the chair of two research groups of EABS, "Graeco-Roman Society and the New Testament" and "The Bible and Ecology". I serve as Co-director of the Center for the Study of New Testament Textual Tradition at the Volos Academy for Theological Studies and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Greek Bible Society and of the Volos Academy for Theological Studies.  I have served as Treasurer of the European Association of Biblical Studies (EABS) and Vice-President of the European Society of Women in Theological Research (ESWTR).

 Currently, I lead a research program on the transcription and study of the Thessalonian epistles as part of the Editio Critica Maior project (IGNTP).
