Από το ιστολόγιο Evangelical Textual Criticism πληροφορούμαστε την κυκλοφορία ενός νέου βιβλίου από τις εκδόσεις της Οξφόρδης με θέμα το κείμενο του κατά Ιωάννην, το οποίο είχε υπόψη του ο ι. Αυγουστίνος και το οποίο παραθέτει στα διάφορα έργα του. Το βιβλίο αποτελεί μέρος ενός μεγαλύτερου ερευνητικού έργου σχετικά με τις αρχαίες λατινικές μεταφράσεις του κατά Ιωάννην.
