Αφετηρία της μελέτης αποτελεί μια κριτική ανάγνωση του Manuel de théologie d’Israël (Labor et Fides 2025). O συγγραφέας επανεξετάζει τη χριστιανική θεολογική ιδέα της «εκπλήρωσης», η οποία συχνά χαρακτηρίζεται από μία λογική υποκατάστασης του Ιουδαϊσμού (supersessionism). Μέσα από την ανάλυση της βιβλικής τυπολογίας στην Καινή Διαθήκη, υποστηρίζει ότι ο θεμελιώδης της σκοπός δεν είναι η κατάργηση ή η αντικατάσταση των παλαιότερων βιβλικών μορφών, αλλά η ένταξη του Ιησού στη γραμμή της προφητικής παράδοσης του Ισραήλ. Ο Ιησούς, συνεπώς, κατανοείται στο πλαίσιο μίας ερμηνευτικής συνέχειας και όχι ρήξης.Αυτή η μετατόπιση της ερμηνευτικής προοπτικής καθιστά δυνατή μια πληρέστερη θεολογική κατανόηση της διαρκούς εκλογής και παρουσίας του Ισραήλ εντός του σχεδίου της Θείας Οικονομίας. Παράλληλα, η ανανεωμένη αυτή ερμηνευτική προσέγγιση συμβάλλει ουσιαστικά στην ενίσχυση του θεολογικού διαλόγου μεταξύ Ιουδαϊσμού και Χριστιανισμού.

Το άρθρο διερευνά το θεολογικό ερώτημα εάν και πώς βίωνε ο ίδιος ο Ιησούς την εμπειρία της ελπίδας. Καθ’ όλη τη διάρκεια της διακονίας του, η ελπίδα του Ιησού εμφανίζεται ως μια δυναμική πραγματικότητα που εξελίσσεται: από τη χαρμόσυνη προσδοκία της εγγύτητας της Βασιλείας του Θεού έως μια ριζική εμπιστοσύνη στον Θεό απέναντι στο ενδεχόμενο του θανάτου. Με αφετηρία καίρια χωρία από το Κατά Μάρκον Ευαγγέλιο, η συγγραφέας δείχνει ότι ο Ιησούς, ενώ είναι Υιός του Θεού, βιώνει μια ελπίδα ταυτόχρονα ανθρώπινη και θεία, σφραγισμένη από την πίστη, την εγκατάλειψη και την εσωτερική μεταμόρφωση. Η θεολογική αυτή προσέγγιση καλεί σε επανεξέταση της χριστιανικής ελπίδας όχι ως στατικής βεβαιότητας, αλλά ως δυναμικής πράξης εμπιστοσύνης στον Θεό, ακόμη και εν μέσω αβεβαιότητας.
