Ποιοι ήταν τελικά οι Σουμέριοι; / Who were the Sumerians

 Στο ιστολόγιο ANE Today o Paul Collins (Ashmolean Museum) εξετάζει τα αρχαιολογικά ευρήματα που η έρευνα αποδίδει στους Σουμερίους και θέτει το ερώτημα, εάν τελικά οι Σουμέριοι υπήρξαν ως μία ιδιαίτερη εθνική ομάδα. Καταλήγει ότι μάλλον δεν πρόκειται για μία μόνο εθνική ομάδα, αλλά μάλλον περισσότερες ομάδες με μία κοινή γλώσσα:
