To φίδι στον κήπο της Εδέμ / The snake in the Garden of Eden
Στην ιστοσελίδα The Bible and Interpretation δημοσιεύεται το σύντομο του ομότιμου καθηγητή της Παλαιάς Διαθήκης John Day (Oxford University), σχετικά με την αρχική σημασία του φιδιού στην ιστορία στον κήπο στην Εδέμ. Η ταύτισή του με τον διάβολο είναι μεταγενέστερη και για αυτό έχουν διατυπωθεί διάφορες θεωρίες, τις οποίες παρουσιάζει κριτικά ο συγγραφέας και στο τέλος προτείνει τη δική του εκδοχή:

Συνέδριο για τον Κανόνα και την αυθεντία του / Conference on the Canon and its authority
Η σημασία του κανόνα και ο ρόλος της αυθεντίας ο οποίος προσδίδεται στα βιβλία που περιέχονται σε αυτόν αποτελεί το θέμα του διεθνούς συνεδρίου που θα λάβει χώρα στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Εδιμβούργου στις 6 Μαΐου 2015. Οι εισηγητές θα προσεγγίσουν θέματα όπως ποιες είναι οι συνέπειες της κανονικοποίησης συγκεκριμένων βιβλίων για την πίστη και την ηθική των ομάδων που αποδέχονται τον κανόνα ή κατά πόσο και με ποιο τρόπο η αποδοχή της αγιότητας αυτών των βιβλίων υπαγορεύει την χρήση και την παράχρησή τους.

Ποιητική και διακειμενικότητα στην Αποκάλυψη / Poetics and intertextuality in the book of Revelation
Από τον εκδοτικό οίκο Mohr Siebeck κυκλοφόρησε ένας νέος συλλογικός τόμος με τις εισηγήσεις που διαβάστηκαν σε μία διεπιστημονική ημερίδα στην Φρανκφούρτη το 2012 κι είχε ως θέμα τη θεώρηση της Αποκάλυψης ως ένα λογοτεχνικό κείμενο. Ειδική μνεία γίνεται στην παράσταση της Κιβωτού του Νώε (φωτο) σε νομίσματα της Απάμειας κατά τον 2ο/3ο αι. μ.Χ., όταν Ιουδαίοι κατέλαβαν αξιώματα στην τοπική αυτοδιοίκηση.
