Νεκρική ταφή με άρμα και δύο άλογα στην ανατολική Κροατία

Αρχαιολόγοι που εργάζονται στο Stari Jankovci (ανατολική Κροατία) έφεραν στο φως έναν πολυτελή τάφο και την εντυπωσιακή ταφή ενός άρματος μαζί με τα δύο άλογα που το έσερναν. Το εύρημα τοποθετείται χρονολογικά στον 3ο αι. μ.Χ. και συνδέεται με κάποια τοπική αριστοκρατική οικογένεια των ρωμαϊκών χρόνων. Ας σημειωθεί ότι από τη γειτονική προς την αρχαιολογική τοποθεσία πόλη Vinkovci κατάγονται δύο Ρωμαίοι αυτοκράτορες, ο Ουαλεντιανός κι ο Ουάλης:
