Η ρωμαϊκή οικία στην Omrit και πάλι / The Roman House at Omrit again

Ένα ακόμη άρθρο για την πρόσφατη ανακάλυψη της ρωμαϊκής οικίας στην Οmrit, την οποία παρουσιάσαμε σε παλαιότερη ανάρτηση (εδώ). Στην δημοσίευση των Times of Israel ο αρθρογράφος εστιάζει στην διακόσμηση του κτιρίου, η οποία ήταν εντυπωσιακή και μαρτυρει τον πλούτο του ιδιοκτήτη της οικίας. Χαρακτηριστικό παράδειγμα το ζευγάρι πάπιες σε λίμνη που βρέθηκε σε δωμάτιο με κρήνη (βλ. φωτο). Ίσως ανήκε σε οικία κάποιου λειτουργού του ναού που βρέθηκε επίσης στην ίδια τοποθεσία (Β. της οικίας) ή σε Ρωμαίο αξιωματούχο.

Η βάση βρίσκεται ακόμη στη φάση της συμπλήρωσής της και τακτικά ανεβαίνουν νέα λήμματα (οι πιο πρόσφατες προσθήκες είναι για την Αποκάλυψη Πέτρου, τον Διάλογο του Σωτήρος, το Ευαγγέλιο Φιλίππου, το Ευαγγέλιο της Συζύγου του Ιησού, τα Ψ-Κλημέντια και την Ιστορία της Παρθένου).
