Στη γνωστή ιστοσελίδα Marginalia έχει εγκαινιασθεί ένα forum με τη συμμετοχή έγκριτων ειδικών, οι οποίοι με αφορμή το νέο βιβλίο της Cynthia M. Baker, Jew, Rutgers University Press 2017 συζητούν τη σημασία και το περιεχόμενο του όρου "Ιουδαίος" από την αρχαιότητα ως σήμερα. Έφυγε από τη ζωή ο γνωστός καινοδιαθηκολόγος Richard Pervo. Στο συγγραφικό του έργο εστίασε κυρίως στις Πράξεις των Αποστόλων αλλά και σε εξωκανονικά έργα του αρχέγονου Χριστιανισμού. Μεταξύ των έργων του ξεχωρίζουν το υπόμνημά του στις Πράξεις στη σειρά Hermeneia (2008), The Mystery of Acts: Unraveling Its Story (2008) και The Pastorals and Polycarp (2016).
