Στην ιστοσελίδα The Bible and Interpretation o Daniel L. Dreisbach δημοσιεύει ένα ενδιαφέρον κείμενο για τη χρήση της Βίβλου από πολιτικούς και στον πολιτικό λόγο γενικότερα. Ο συγγραφέας σχολιάζει κυρίως την αμερικανική πραγματικότητα, παρέχει όμως με αφορμή αυτό το παράδειγμα μία ενδιαφέρουσα τυπολογία κι ένα μεθοδολογικό πλαίσιο ανάγνωσης και αξιολόγησης τέτοιων πολιτικών χρήσεων του βιβλικού κειμένου:
