Στην ιστοσελίδα The Bible and Interpretation έχει αναρτηθεί ένα πολύ ενδιαφέρον κείμενο του Robert M. Royalty, Jr. (Wabash College) σχετικά με το περιεχόμενο που έχει η έννοια της αίρεσης στα κείμενα του Παύλου και κυρίως στις δύο προς Κορινθίους επιστολές του.

+ Ferdinand Hahn (1926-2015)

Από το διαδίκτυο πληροφορήθηκα την είδηση του θανάτου του ομότιμου καθηγητή της Καινής Διαθήκης στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Μονάχου Ferdinand Hahn, ενός εξαιρετικού επιστήμονα στο χώρο της ερμηνείας και της θεολογίας της Καινής Διαθήκης. Σπούδασε θεολογία στα πανεπιστήμια του Mainz, Göttingen και Heidelberg. Η διατριβή του με την εποπτεία του Günther Bornkamm είχε ως θέμα τους χριστολογικούς τίτλους στην Καινή Διαθήκη, ένα βιβλίο που παραμένει ακόμη και σήμερα σημείο αναφοράς (Christologische Hoheitstitel:Ihre Geschichte im frühen Christentum). Δίδαξε ως καθηγητής της ΚΔ στο Kiel και στο Maiz κι από το 1976 και μέχρι τη συνταξιοδότησή του το 1994 στην Ευαγγελική Θεολογική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου του Μονάχου. Από το πλούσιο συγγραφικό του έργο ξεχωρίζω εκτός από το προαναφερθέν έργο και την εξαιρετική δίτομη θεολογία του της Καινής Διαθήκης (Theologie des Neuen Testaments I: Die Vielfalt des Neuen Testaments, Tübingen 2002 και II: Die Einheit des Neuen Testaments, Tübingen 2003). Είχα την τιμή να τον γνωρίσω κατά την παραμονή μου στο Μόναχο στις επιστημονικές συναντήσεις της Θεολογικής Σχολής. Ένας άνθρωπος με πολλές γνώσεις, ευγενής και με οικουμενικές ευαισθησίες. Ο Θεός να τον αναπαύσει!

Ο Σατανάς στο κατά Ιωάννην / Satan in John's Gospel

Από τον εκδοτικό οίκο Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht κυκλοφόρησε ένα νέο βιβλίο με θέμα την εικόνα και το ρόλο του Σατανά στο κατά Ιωάννην ευαγγέλιο. Ο συγγραφέας της νέας αυτής μελέτης, Florian Theobald, παρουσιάζει την "προϊστορία" του Σατανά στην Παλαιά Διαθήκη, στα κείμενα του αρχαίου Ιουδαϊσμού, στις επιστολές του Παύλου καθώς και στα συνοπτικά ευαγγέλια. Στη συνέχεια υποστηρίζει ότι στο κατά Ιωάννην ευαγγέλιο ο Σατανάς πρέπει να νικηθεί σε δύο επίπεδα: σε ένα κοσμικών διαστάσεων από τον Ιησού με το θάνατό του και σε ένα ψυχολογικό στις ζωές των ανθρώπων, όπου εξακολουθεί να επιδρά μέσα από το ψέμα (γνωσιακή διάσταση), με την απομάκρυνση των ανθρώπων από τον Θεό (ηθική διάσταση) και με το μίσος, την επιθετικότητα, τον φόβο για τον θάνατο και την λύπη (συναισθηματική διάσταση). Με το Άγιο Πνεύμα ο Σατανάς μπορεί να νικηθεί σε αυτό το ψυχολογικό επίπεδο κι έτσι μπορούν κι οι μαθητές του Ιησού να συμμετέχουν στη δική του νίκη.
