Δύο βιβλιοκρισίες για το νέο βιβλίο του N.T. Wright / Two reviews on N.T. Wright's new book

Τον Νοέμβριο 2013 κυκλοφόρησε το νέο βιβλίο του N.T. Wright με τον τίτλο Paul and the Faithfulness of God. Στο πολυσέλιδο αυτο βιβλίο (1700 σελίδες) ο γνωστός καινοδιαθηκολόγος συγκεντρώνει ουσιαστικά όλη την προηγούμενη έρευνα για τη θεολογική σκέψη του αποστόλου Παύλου. Όπως ήταν αναμενόμενο το νέο βιβλίο του Wright προκάλεσε σειρά συζητήσεων. Στη γνωστή ιστοσελίδα marginalia δημοσιεύονται δύο προσεγγίσεις στο έργο του από δύο επίσης γνωστούς ειδικούς στη μελέτη του Παύλου:

Η ψηφιοποίηση του αρχαιότερου κατά γενικές εκτιμήσεις παπύρου P46 (200 μ.Χ.) έχει πλέον ολοκληρωθεί κι οι ψηφιοποιημένες σελίδες τους είναι προσβάσιμες σε κάθε ενδιαφερόμενο στην ψηφιακή βιβλιοθήκη του Center of the Study of New Testament Manuscripts (CSNTM). Το συγκεκριμένο κέντρο, επικεφαλής του οποίου είναι ο καθ. Daniel Wallace, προσφέρει πολύτιμες υπηρεσίες στον ακαδημαϊκό χώρο, καθώς δίνει τη δυνατότητα σε όσους ασχολούνται με την κριτική του κειμένου της Καινής Διαθήκης να έχουν πρόσβαση σε χειρόγραφά της σε όλο τον κόσμο.

A novel, rigorous solution to the long-contested puzzle regarding the composition of Paul's letters

All historical work on Paul presupposes a story concerning the composition of his letters — which ones he actually wrote, how many pieces they might originally have consisted of, when he wrote them, where from, and why. But the answers given to these questions are often derived in dubious ways.

In Framing Paul Douglas Campbell reappraises all these issues in rigorous fashion, appealing only to Paul's own epistolary data in order to derive a basic "frame" for the letters on which all subsequent interpretation can be built. Though figuring out the authorship and order of Paul's letters has been thought to be impossible, Campbell's Framing Paul presents a cogent solution to the puzzle.
