Η σημασία των δείπνων στον ελληνορωμαϊκό κόσμο

Το θέμα των δείπνων, η ιστορικοκοινωνική τους σημασία και η πιθανή θέση που αυτά κατείχαν και στις πρώτες χριστιανικές κοινότητες, αποτελούν το θέμα πολλών επιστημονικών εργασιών και συνεδρίων κατά τα τελευταία χρόνια. Στο πλαίσιο των ετήσιων συναντήσεων της SBL λαμβάνει χώρα ένα σεμινάριο με θέμα τα δείπνα στον ελληνορωμαϊκό κόσμο. Στην ομώνυμη ιστοσελίδα του P. Harland μπορεί κανείς να διαβάσει το πρόγραμμα της φετινής συνάντησης, να διαβάσει και να "κατεβάσει" (σε μορφή pdf) παλαιότερες εισηγήσεις.

Ειδικότερα η φετινή συνάντηση θα λάβει χώρα στην Boston, Massachusetts 22-23 Νοεμβρίου. Τα θέματα της φετινής χρονιάς είναι:
