Στήλη μεσοποταμιακής σεληνιακής θεότητας στο e-Tell / Stele of a Mesopotamian Moon God at e-Tell

Σύμφωνα με δημοσίευμα της Haaretz αρχαιολόγοι που εργάζονται στον αρχαιολογικό χώρο του e-Tell το οποίο θεωρείται από ορισμένους ερευνητές ως η Βηθσαϊδά της Καινής Διαθήκης, εντόπισαν ένα ενδιαφέρον εύρημα ηλικίας 3.000 χρόνων. Πρόκειται για μία στήλη από βασάλτη με ανάγλυφη παράσταση μίας μεσοποταμιακής σεληνιακής θεότητας (φωτο) την οποία οι κάτοικοι της πόλης έκρυψαν σε κάποια επιδρομή κατά την αρχαιότητα:

Ανακάλυψη ενός ρωμαϊκού πλοίου / Discovery of a Roman ship

Σύμφωνα με δημοσίευμα του Reuters αρχαιολόγοι που εργάζονται στην ανασκαφή του αρχαίου Viminacium εντόπισαν μέρος ενός ρωμαϊκού πλοίου που χρονολογείται στον 3ο αι. μ.Χ. Το αρχικό του μήκος ήταν 19 μέτρα. Κοντά σε αυτό βρέθηκαν επίσης δύο βάρκες. Σύμφωνα με τις εκτιμήσεις των ειδικών ανήκουν στο ρωμαϊκό στόλο που ήταν εγκαταστημένος στο Viminacium, πρωτεύουσα της Άνω Μοισίας, κατά τους ρωμαϊκούς χρόνους για να προστατεύει την περιοχή από βαρβαρικές επιθέσεις:
