Ο Μorton Smith και το Μυστικό κατά Μάρκον / Morton Smith and the Secret Mark

Στην ιστοσελίδα The Bible and Interpretation έχει αναρτηθεί το ενδιαφέρον άρθρο του Craig A. Evans, καθηγητή της Κ.Δ. στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Acadia (Canada) σχετικά με το Μυστικό κατά Μάρκον. O Evans εξετάζει τα επιχειρήματα υπέρ και κατά της γνησιότητας του παράξενου αυτού κειμένου και καταλήγει στη μη γνησιότητά του, αν και ομολογεί ότι είναι δύσκολο να εξακριβωθεί, εάν ο συντάκτης του είναι ο ίδιος ο Morton Smith ή κάποιος άλλος. Σε κάθε περίπτωση ωστόσο είναι πεπεισμένος ότι το κείμενο δεν προέρχεται από τον ίδιο τον Κλήμεντα ή πολύ περισσότερο από κάποια χαμένη σήμερα εκδοχή του κατά Μάρκον ευαγγελίου.

EABS Thessaloniki 8-11 August 2011

Την Πέμπτη 11 Αυγούστου 2011 ολοκληρώθηκαν οι εργασίες του Διεθνούς Συνεδρίου της European Association of Biblical Studies που φέτος έλαβε χώρα στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Στο συνέδριο συμμετείχαν περίπου 250 σύνεδροι και ακροατές και διαβάστηκαν περίπου 200 εισηγήσεις, μερικές των οποίων και από Έλληνες συναδέλφους, οι οποίες κάλυπταν όλες τις περιοχές της βιβλικής έρευνας. Η φετινή συνάντηση αποτελεί τη μεγαλύτερη σε αριθμό διοργάνωση της εταιρείας.

Η επόμενη συνάντηση θα πραγματοποιηθεί σε συνεργασία με την Society of Biblical Literature στο Άμστερνταμ της Ολλανδίας στο διάστημα 22-26 Ιουλίου 2012.
