Το Πανεπιστήμιο του Στρασβούργου διοργανώνει διεθνές συνέδριο με θέμα τον τρόπο που τα Χειρόγραφα της Νεκράς Θαλάσσης και η Σαμαρειτική Πεντάτευχος μπορούν να συμβάλουν η μία στην κατανόηση της ιστορίας σύνταξης του άλλου:
