Υποστηρίζει ότι ο συγγραφέας του τετάρτου ευαγγελίου γνωρίζει το κατά Μάρκον, το υλικό του οποίου επεξεργάζεται με τρόπο ανάλογο όπως εκείνον των Ματθαίου και Λουκά έτσι ώστε να ταιριάζει στο δικό του θεολογικό πρόγραμμα:
