Κυκλοφόρησε από τον εκδοτικό οίκο Peeters ένα χρηστικό εγχειρίδιο για τις ιουδαϊκές προσευχές της εποχής της Καινής Διαθήκης. Τα κείμενα των προσευχών προέρχονται κυρίως από το Κουμράν και συμπληρώνονται από μερικά ακόμη από τα ιουδαϊκά ψευδεπίγραφα. Τα περισσότερα από αυτά αποδίδονται μάλιστα για πρώτη φορά στη γερμανική γλώσσα:

Σύμφωνα με δημοσιεύματα στα μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης οι αρχαιολογικές εργασίες στην Via Alessandrina (forum του Τραϊανού) στη Ρώμη έφεραν στο φως τη μαρμάρινη κεφαλή αγάλματος μάλλον του θεού Διονύσου εντοιχισμένη σε τοίχο των μεσαιωνικών χρόνων, όπου χρησιμοποιήθηκε ως οικοδομικό υλικό. Σύμφωνα με τις πρώτες εκτιμήσεις το άγαλμα χρονολογείται στον 1ο ή 2ο αι. μ.Χ.

Το μυστικό κατά Μάρκον παραμένει ένα αμφιλεγόμενο κείμενο. Ήδη από τη δημοσίευσή του από τον Morton Smit στα 1960 προκάλεσε συζητήσεις, συχνά έντονες. Αδιαμφισβήτητα, αυτό το κείμενο έχει μεγάλους θαυμαστές και δυνατούς αντιπάλους. Η βολική εξαφάνισή του στη βιβλιοθήκη του Πατριαρχείου Ιεροσολύμων μάλλον τρέφει όλες τις θεωρίες συνωμοσίας γύρω από αυτό. Μία νέα διατριβή, του Timo Paananen (Πανεπιστήμιο του Helsinki) έρχεται να ταράξει τα νερά και πάλι. Ο συγγραφέας της υποστηρίζει με μία σειρά νέων επιχειρημάτων ότι πρόκειται για ένα γνήσιο κείμενο της αρχαιότητας. Eπιπλέον, αξιοποιεί ένα ευρύ φάσμα διεπιστημονικών εργαλείων και προτείνει ένα σαφές και καλά τεκμηριωμένο μεθοδολογικό εργαλείο για τη διαπίστωση της πλαστογραφίας αρχαίων κειμένων.
