Επέστρεψα / I am back!

Happy New Year to everyone!

After a long silence due to increased professional commitments and significant changes in my personal life, I'm returning to my blog with renewed energy and enthusiasm.

Biblical Studies Blog started years ago as a way to share developments in biblical scholarship with Greek-speaking audiences. Over time, it gained international recognition, something that brings me particular joy. Now, in 2026, I'm ready to revive it with a more personal voice.

Once again, there will be regular updates on new publications in academic journals, edited volumes, monographs, and doctoral dissertations covering biblical studies, archaeology, New Testament-era history, and epigraphy.

Additionally, I'll be announcing archaeological discoveries connected to the world of the New Testament and its Greco-Roman cultural context.

Something new will be regular thematic posts on inscriptions, New Testament-era history, ecological biblical hermeneutics, and Orthodox biblical scholarship.

Some posts will focus on my own research, such as the Editio Critica Maior program for 1 and 2 Thessalonians, my research projects, and my publications.

Finally, I'll make sure to provide information about conferences related to the blog's themes both in Greece and abroad.

I'm delighted to return to this space I love, where I can share news and ideas with you. I hope you'll join me on this journey!
