Tα καμμένα χειρόγραφα του Herculaneum / The carbonized manuscripts of Herculaneum

Σύμφωνα με δημοσίευμα της εφημερίδας Guardian οι νέες τεχνολογίες μπορούν να βοηθήσουν στην ανάγνωση των απανθρακωμένων χειρογράφων που βρέθηκαν στο Herculaneum, μία πόλη κοντά στη Νάπολη που είχε την ίδια τύχη με την Πομπηία, όταν εξερράγη ο Βεζούβιος το 79 μ.Χ.:
