Το μυστικό του Χειρογράφου του Ναού / The secret of the Tempe Scroll
Σύμφωνα με δημοσιεύματα που κυκλοφόρησαν διαδικτυακά, το μυστικό της καλής συντήρησης του γνωστού Χειρογράφου του Ναού από τη βιβλιοθήκη του Κουμράν φαίνεται να ήταν η επεξεργασία του με ένα μείγμα ορυκτών που περιείχε αλάτι. Αυτή η ιδιαιτερότητα της κατασκευής του υλικού γραφής του χειρογράφου το καθιστά ξεχωριστό μεταξύ των υπολοίπων χειρογράφων του Κουμράν είναι σύμφωνα με τους ειδικούς η αιτία καλής διατήρησής του μέχρι σήμερα αλλά κι αυτή που τελικά μπορεί να συμβάλει στη διάβρωσή του στο μέλλον:
