Tην προηγούμενη εβδομάδα κυκλοφόρησε η είδηση για τον εντοπισμό των ιχνών μίας ιουδαϊκής πόλης λίγο έξω από τη σύγχρονη Be'er Sheba. Τα ευρήματα κεραμικής βεβαιώνουν πλέον την παρουσία των Ιουδαίων στην περιοχή για περισσότερα από 150 χρόνια, από τον 1ο έως και τον 2ο αι. μ.Χ. Ανάμεσα στα ευρήματα αναφέρεται στα διαδικτυακά δημοσιεύματα ένα κομμάτι ενός πήλινου λυχναριού με την παράσταση ενός εννιάφωτου menorah και τα ερείπια ενός αρχαίου mikvah:
