Ένα νέο thermopolium με τοιχογραφίες ήρθε στο φως στην αρχαία Πομπηία. Η αρχαιολογική σκαπάνη έφερε στο φως περισσότερα από 150 thermopolia στην πόλη, τα οποία ήταν τόπος αγοράς τροφής για τις φτωχότερες ομάδες του πληθυσμού, οι οποίοι δεν είχαν τρόπο παρασκευής τροφής στα σπίτιά τους.
