Exegeticum για τον μήνα Οκτώβριο

Το Εργαστήριο Βιβλικών Σπουδών διοργανώνει την πρώτη συνάντηση του μεταπτυχιακού σεμιναρίου Exegeticum την Πέμπτη, 12 Οκτωβρίου 2018, ώρα 18.00, στην αίθουσα συνεδριάσεων του α΄ ορόφου της Θεολογικής Σχολής. Ο τίτλος της συνάντησης είναι "Κριτική του Κειμένου της Καινής Διαθήκης: Ιστορία και προοπτικές". Στο πάνελ των ομιλητών συμμετέχουν ερευνητές από την Ευρώπη και την Αμερική, ειδικοί σε θέματα της κριτικής του κειμένου της Καινής Διαθήκης, οι οποίοι θα παρουσιάσουν τα τρέχοντα ερευνητικά προγράμματα καθώς και τις προκλήσεις και προοπτικές που υπάρχουν σε αυτό το ευρύ ερευνητικό πεδίο.

Είσοδος ελεύθερη, η γλώσσα των εισηγήσεων θα είναι αγγλική, θα υπάρξει όμως διερμηνεία κατά τη συζήτηση.

Η Francesca Tronchin δημοσιεύει ένα πολύ κατατοπιστικό άρθρο για τον τρόπο που εφαρμοζόταν η damnatio memoriae στον αρχαίο κόσμο:

Damnatio memoriae—Roman sanctions against memory

[Α.Τ.: Θα πρέπει να σημειώσω, ωστόσο, ότι η damnatio memoriae στον αρχαίο κόσμο δε σημαίνει υποχρεωτικά την εξαφάνιση της μνήμης κάποιου αλλά μάλλον την αμαύρωσή της. Με άλλα λόγια, σκοπός ήταν κατά κάποιον τρόπο η λήθη διά της μνήμης. Αυτό εξηγεί γιατί στις περισσότερες περιπτώσεις δεν γίνεται κάποια προσπάθεια επεξεργασίας των μνημείων ώστε να μην υπάρχουν τα ίχνη του προηγούμενου προσώπου ή της προσπάθειας εξαφάνισής τους. Έτσι όσοι τα βλέπουν είναι σε θέση να διαπιστώσουν την παρέμβαση και να θυμηθούν γιατί αυτή έγινε και ποιος ήταν το θύμα της. Η damnatio memoriae έχει ιδιαίτερη κοινωνική σημασία και συνδέεται με την κατασκευή της κοινής ταυτότητας των μελών της αρχαίας κοινωνίας (σε τοπικό επίπεδο ή στο επίπεδο της αυτοκρατορίας). Επομένως, δεν είναι απόλυτα ακριβές να αντιμετωπίζεται ως βαρβαρότητα. Όπως θα ήταν επίσης ιστορικός αναχρονισμός να συγκριθούν οι πρακτικές του ρωμαϊκού κόσμου με εκείνες σε νεότερα απολυταρχικά καθεστώτα.]
