Η έκτη συνάντηση του Biblicum του Τομέα Βιβλικής Γραμματείας και Θρησκειολογίας του Τμήματος Θεολογίας ΑΠΘ θα λάβει χώρα τη Δευτέρα 11 Απριλίου 2011 και ώρα 19.30 στην αίθουσα συνεδριάσεων στον α΄ όροφο της Θεολογικής Σχολής. 

Ομιλητής θα είναι ο καθηγητής της Κ.Δ. του Τμήματος Θεολογίας κ. Πέτρος Βασιλειάδης. Τίτλος της εισήγησης:

To συνέδριο της EABS στη Θεσσαλονίκη / Τhe EABS Conference in Thessaloniki

For all our English-speaking visitors, information is available at the EABS website and blog of the conference.

Όπως αναφέραμε σε παλαιότερες αναρτήσεις, στο διάστημα 8 έως 11 Αυγούστου 2011 θα λάβει χώρα στη Θεσσαλονίκη η διεθνής ετήσια συνάντηση της European Association of Biblical Studies. Σε αυτήν προβλέπεται να συμμετάσχει μεγάλος αριθμός βιβλικών επιστημόνων από την Ευρώπη, την Αμερική και το Ισραήλ. Παρόντες θα είναι και πολλοί επιστήμονες (βιβλικοί, αρχαιολόγοι, πατρολόγοι και θρησκειολόγοι)  από την Ελλάδα. Η συνάντηση θα λάβει χώρα στο ξενοδοχείο Porto Palace, ενώ η εναρκτήρια συνεδρίαση θα γίνει στο Βυζαντινό Μουσείο. Στις επόμενες μέρες θα ανακοινώσουμε περισσότερες λεπτομέρειες για το πρόγραμμα.

Για όσους ενδιαφέρονται να παρακολουθήσουν το συνέδριο, θα πρέπει να εγγραφούν στο συνέδριο. Οι τιμές, καθώς επίσης και πολλές άλλες χρήσιμες πληροφορίες, έχουν ανακοινωθεί στη σχετική ιστοσελίδα της Εταιρίας και στο ιστολόγιο του συνεδρίου.

Πρόκειται για μία εξαιρετική ευκαιρία, καθώς είναι η πρώτη φορά που φιλοξενείται στη Θεσσαλονίκη μία τόσο μεγάλη διεθνής διοργάνωση.

Αρχαία χριστιανικά μολύβδινα πινακίδια; / Ancient Christian lead tablets?

Η είδηση για έναν αριθμό (20 ή 70;) μολύβδινων πινακίδων, οι οποίες μπορεί να συνδέονται με αρχαίες χριστιανικές ομάδες, κυριαρχεί τον τελευταίο καιρό στο διαδίκτυο. Πριν λίγες μέρες το BBC

ανάρτησε ένα ακόμη άρθρο σχετικά με το ενδιαφέρον αυτό εύρημα. Τόσο αυτό όσο και τα προηγούμενα προκάλεσαν ποικίλες αντιδράσεις. Η επιστημονική κοινότητα, παρά τον αναμενόμενο ενθουσιασμό των ΜΜΕ (μην ξεχνούμε ότι πλησιάζει το Πάσχα, εποχή τέτοιων θεαματικών ανακαλύψεων), παραμένει πολύ επιφυλακτική, αν και δεν λείπουν και οι σχετικές περισσότερο θετικές γνώμες.

Ανάμεσα στα σχόλια που αξίζει να διαβάσει κανείς είναι εκείνο της April DeConick, Exploring Our Matrix, Larry Hurtado, Rogue Classicism.
