Το ιστολόγιο Evangelical Textual Criticism παραπέμπει στον ενημερωμένο κατάλογο των χειρογράφων της Καινής Διαθήκης του Institut für neutestamentliche Textforschung (INTF). Σε αυτήν τη νέα έκδοση του καταλόγου περιλαμβάνεται και το νέο σπάραγμα με απόσπασμα της 1 Πέτρου. Οι μεγαλογράμματοι μάρτυρες του κειμένου ανέρχονται στους 0320, οι μικρογράμματοι στους 2897 και τα λεκτιονάρια στα L2438.

Ένα νέο σπάραγμα παπύρου με την προς Εβραίους / A new fragment of Hebrewss

Την είδηση την διαβάσαμε στο ιστολόγιο Evangelical Textual Criticism και την μεταφέρουμε και στο δικό μας ιστολόγιο. Η Claire Clivaz ανακοίνωσε την textual criticism discussion list ότι ένα νέο σπάραγμα παπύρου, το PSI 1497, το οποίο περιέχει το απόσπασμα Εβρ 13,12-13. 19-20, καταχωρήθηκε ως P126. Το σπάραγμα εκδόθηκε στο Papiri Greci e Latini, Firenze : Le Monnier : Istituto papirologico "G. Vitelli", vol. 15, 2008, p. 171-172.

Ανεύρεση παράστασης του Αλεξάνδρου στο Ισραήλ / Discovery of a portrait of Alexander in Israel

Από το ιστολόγιο του Jim Davila (PaleoJudaica) πληροφορούμαστε την ανεύρεση μικρογραφίας της προσωπογραφίας του Μ. Αλεξάνδρου επάνω σε πολύτιμο λίθο στο Tel Dor (30 χλμ νότια της Haifa). Η ανακάλυψη δημοσιεύθηκε αρχικά στην ηλεκτρονική σελίδα του IsraelNN.com. Σύμφωνα με το ίδιο δημοσίευμα το εύρημα παρουσιάζει ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρονς τόσο για την σπανιότητά του όσο και για την υψηλή του ποιότητα.
Κατά τη δήλωση των υπεύθυνων αρχαιολόγων:

"It has been accepted to assume that first-rate artists - and whoever carved the image of Alexander in this gemstone was certainly one of them - were primarily active under the patronage of the large royal courts in Greece itself or in major capitals," the scientists explained. "It turns out that local elites in secondary centers such as Dor could allow themselves - and knew to appreciate - superior artwork."
