Ο Marc Goodacre έχει αναρτήσει σήμερα στο ιστολόγιό του μία ενδιαφέρουσα παρουσίαση του τρόπου χρονολόγησης των παύλειων επιστολών και προτείνει μια χρονολογική σειρά και ειδικότερα για την προς Γαλάτας και την Α΄ Κορινθίους. Ένας ναός της εποχής του Αυγούστου στο Άκτιο

Στη σημερινή έκδοση της εφημερίδας ΕΛΕΥΘΕΡΟΤΥΠΙΑ διαβάζουμε το δημοσίευμα της Ν. ΚΟΝΤΡΑΡΟΥ-ΡΑΣΣΙΑ για την ανασκαφή ναού του Απόλλωνα, ο οποίος πιθανότατα είναι σύγχρονος με την ίδρυση της Νικόπολης και την ανέγερση του Μνημείου της νίκης του Αυγούστου επί του Αντωνίου. Η μάχη στο Άκτιο 31 π.Χ. είναι από τα σημαντικότερα γεγονότα της αρχαίας ιστορίας, καθώς με την ήττα του Μ. Αντωνίου ο Αύγουστος εδραίωσε την εξουσία του και έγινε ο πρώτος αυτοκράτορας του ρωμαϊκού κράτους, μοναδικός κύριος της οικουμένης και εγγυητής της ειρήνης για όλον τον ελληνορωμαϊκό κόσμο. Οι ιδέες αυτές προπαγανδίστηκαν μέσα από νομίσματα του Αυγούστου, μέσα από έργα τέχνης και οικοδομήματα αλλά και διάφορες θρησκευτικοπολιτικές κινήσεις με ιδιαίτερα συμβολικό περιεχόμενο (όπως για παράδειγμα η ίδρυση της πόλης της Νικόπολης, η οποία ήταν ζωντανό μνημείο-πόλη της Νίκης του Αυγούστου). Ο ναός του Απόλλωνα, τον οποίο φαίνεται να έφερε στο φως η αρχαιολογική σκαπάνη, συνδέεται άμεσα με αυτήν τη νίκη του Αυγούστου, καθώς, σύμφωνα με τους Ρωμαίους ιστορικούς Σουητώνιο και Δίωνα Κάσσιο, ο Αύγουστος φρόντισε να κτίσει επάνω στον προϋπάρχοντα αρχαίο ναό του θεού ένα νέο κτίσμα σε ανάμνηση της νίκης του. Είναι άλλωστε γνωστή η σχέση του Αυγούστου με το θεό του φωτός και της μουσικής, την οποία αναφέρει και ο Βιργίλιος αλλά και η οποία πιστοποιείται από μία σειρά εικαστικών έργων και παραστάσεων επί νομισμάτων της εποχής του πρώτου αυτοκράτορα.

Στο άρθρο εξετάζεται το πρόβλημα, εάν τα πέντε χειρόγραφα, που έχουν ονομασθεί ως 4QReworked Pentateuch (4Q158, 4Q364-367), θα πρέπει να θεωρηθούν εξωβιβλικά κείμενα ή απλά αναπτύξεις βιβλικών κειμένων. Καθώς και στους δύο τύπους κειμένων έχουμε παρόμοιες μορφές επεξεργασίας πρηγούμενου υλικού τα χειρόγραφα 4QRP δε μπορούν να λύσουν το πρόβλημα. Κάποια άλλα κριτήρια (φιλολογικό ύφος, θέμα κτλ.) ίσως μπορούν να λύσουν το πρόβλημα, ο αποσπασματικός όμως χαρακτήρας των συγκεκριμένων κειμένων αποκλείει μία σίγουρη απάντηση στο ερώτημα.

Στο Δαν 7,9-10, ο προφήτης περιγράφει το όραμα του ουράνιου θρόνου του Θεού. Σύμφωνα με τους περισσότερους ερμηνευτές το όραμα του Δανιήλ φιλολογικά εξαρτάται από τις υποθετικά πιο απλοϊκές οράσεις στα 1 Ενώχ και Βιβλίο των Γιγάντων που βρέθηκαν στο Κουμράν. Κάποιες όμως αποκλίσεις μεταξύ αυτών των παραδόσεων υπαινίσσονται ότι το 1 Ενώχ 14 στηρίζεται στην περιγραφή ενός οράματος παρόμοια με αυτήν που υπάρχει στο Δαν 7. Το Βιβλίο των Γιγάντων και το Δαν, από την άλλη, φαίνεται να στηρίζονται σε μία κοινή παράδοση, την οποία την αξιοποιούν με διαφορετικό τρόπο.

Matthew Thiessen, "4Q372 1 and the Continuation of Joseph's Exile", 380-395

Έχει υποστηριχθεί ότι το 4Q372 1 περιέχει μια πολεμική εναντίον των Σαμαριτών και του ναού τους στο Γαριζίν. Μολονότι οι Σαμαρίτες αναφέρονται σε αυτό το κείμενο, η παρουσία τους δηλώνει στις νότιες φυλές που έχουν αποκατασταθεί ότι ουσιαστικά η αποκατάστασή τους δεν έχει ακόμη ολοκληρωθεί. Εφόσον οι βόρειες φυλές που εκπροσωπούνται από τον Ιωσήφ παραμένουν σε ξένες χώρες, η υπόσχεση σωτηρίας στο Δτν 32 δεν μπορεί να εκπληρωθεί. Αντίθετα με τις φυλές του Νότου, που μπορεί να θεωρούν μαζί με το Ψα 78 ότι ο Θεός απέρριψε τον Ιωσήφ, το 4Q372 1 δηλώνει ότι η τύχη του Νότου είναι άμεσα συνδεδεμένη με εκείνην του Ιωσήφ.
